Hey so I’d like to know why the rest of oppo is reporting these crazy low gas prices and I’m still looking at $2.30

That’s probably a bargain for you right now, right?
I put in $10 of regular in a couple of weeks ago and I'm still running on it. At the price in my original post it might be worth it to drive down to Costco and do a full fill. At the rate things are going it would probably last me until mid summer...

Those prices are at Costco. The last time I put some regular in my car at the local QT I think it was close to that Costco premium price.
Are you in California?

absolutely the cheapest i’ve seen it in at least 20 years.
came back from a trip in the UK in 2000, and it was 99.9cpl back then

City/state taxes vary drastically. Seems that premium fuel isn’t coming down nearly as much either.
In Denver I’m seeing a lot of 1.80 and 1.90/gal, just outside the city limits it’s as low as 1.20/gal.

Pennsylvania has one of the highest per gallon taxes in the country. It was done by Corbett to fund infrastructure, which is why your roads and bridges are in such great shape now.

I’d have to drive what feels like 178 miles to get to the local costco, but that is because it is out in suburbia where the unsupervised children and Infinity QX-whatevers roam free, bumping into everything in sight...

Where’s the chili? I need chili dogs (and fries. And burgers)
Or I could just buy (or make) the sauce and do it myself. People are charging a premium for fans of the stuff, and technically it’s only available at the restaurants.
And before anyone says anything, I know the food is crap. But it's nostalgic crap...

Better drive to buffalo . Or at least a place serving Sahlens hot dog products. Best hot dogs.

Funny I have NEVER been to the west side of the state and I have lived here for 95% of my life. Visited more than half the US and a bunch of Europe...Haven’t even been to Pittsburgh...

No problem. I usually prefer my dogs with just mustard and onions. There’s a chain that I’ve been going to since, well, forever, and they have one location in the Midwest, 178 miles away from me. I’ve been tempted to drive up there for that familiar taste. Despite what the promo picture looks like, I’m sure the real thing would look like this:
Not quite as attractive, and certainly not as good as a proper homemade dog.

Of course. Most of the increased revenue actually went to the state police for their general budget, which is actually where turnpike tolls also mostly go.

I have a lot of respect for a man who would travel that distance for a good weenie. I have a friend who has worked at a chili parlor for years and I have had a great many dogs at his job.
